For the fifth time in the last ten years the municipality of the Portuguese town of Mértola held the « Islamic Festival » on 21, 22, 23 and 24 May, in cooperation with the Islamic Community in Spain, one of the founding members of the European Muslim Union.
This festival, which takes place every two years represents a wonderful opportunity to make Islam better known and understood to the Portuguese people.
